This poll isn't totally accurate. Even with implanting one that embryo can split into identical twins. My last IVF cycle (as a 2nd time surrogate) we implanted 2, both took and one split so we were pregnant with triplets. My 1st time we transferred 2 and both took as well. I think it should depend on more then just a # of embryos..Maternal age, uterine condition, embryo quality, etc.
