Hi TerryJean - I am an EmpowHER Guide, and have worked in the healthcare field for more than 20 years. Our focus on Empowher is to guide our readers and members to finding solutions to their health problems, by working with their own team of health care providers and by doing their own research, based on guidance and support from HerWriters and Guides. We also welcome comments from other readers who may have experience in the same health condition so that everyone can benefit from the experience of others.

We cannot and do not offer specific medical advice for individuals in terms of diagnosis, treatment or recommendations with regard to diagnostic tools.

Thank you for providing more information on the conditions you've been dealing with, the medical procedures and medical specialists. If I'm understanding your comments the stomach ache seems to be an isolated concern and you've had multiple diagnostic procedures that have not provided a clear cause and you were given a prescription to reduce stomach acid which is not providing relief.

You may find our reference page on acid reflux to be helpful:

It does not appear that anyone has suggested that food allergies or food intolerance could be causing your pain, so you may find the following article from the Mayo Clinic helpful:http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-allergy/AN01109

Since your primary care physician is monitoring your overall health you may want to schedule an appointment with him/her specifically to deal with the stomach concerns, and to aggressively pursue a solution. You've been dealing with this for more than a year with no clear results, and that's far too long. It would be helpful to provide your doctor a written summary of all of your tests, medications and results (or lack of them) so that he/she can review all of this at a glance, and review them as they may relate to your stomach issues. The manner in which regular appointments take place today does not really focus the physician's attention on one condition in depth, and by orchestrating that attention yourself you are more likely to get either an answer or a referral to a specialist who can help you further.

Please let me know if this information helps you, and what you decide to do next. I wish you all the best, and that you find relief. Pat
