If you can post your diagnosis that would be very helpful. My weight gain mirrors yours and so do my conditions although I also have carcinoid cancer from tumors in my stomach. I have already had a large cyst (benign) removed from my ovary. Thank you to the responder for the info, my research turned up the same possible causes but I have no idea which one. Can elevated cortisol levels occur without Cushings and how quickly could it cause a 25lb gain? I have a gastrin level of 40x normal. Also hypothyroidism (on synthyroid), fibro, kidney pain, carpal tunnel/pinched nerves both hands, other neuro, bad back/neck/knees and of course anxiety from being 37 and so ill.
