I have been in to see my doctor again to confirm and learn how to use the protocol today. The way it works is that the doctor prescribes the required formula to either assist the lady to minimize the production of oestrogen from day 12 of the cycle so as to minimize the chance of ovulation and so avoid fertilization of the egg. It can also be used to maximize the chance of fertility by prescribing the dosage of oestrodiol and progesterone.
THis protocol is seldom linked with the word 'contraception' in the net.

But if used correctly can be used as a natural method to aid the female hormonal system to produce the correct amount of hormones to either work to fertilize or to reduce the fertility of the female person.
It does require guidance from the doctor intermittently in the initial stages by the lady providing feedback to the doctor about her symptoms, then the next dosages may need to altered to balance the hormonal effects.
Hope this helps.
