Hi,
I am not sure how a condom would get "lost" inside your vagina, as it is only 5 inches of tissue/canal, and you and your boyfriend would have surely felt it while having intercourse. Your boyfriend would know if he took the condom off of his penis, or if he kept his penis inside of you until after he lost his erection, this is cause for concern: your boyfriend needs to re-read the instructions on how to use a condom, as it is important to hold the condom at the base and withdraw his penis while still erect, so that semen does not "spill" out into your vagina. Have you questioned him why he did not do this, and would leave a condom inside your vagina? I was actually shocked to read this, and irritated at any partner that would do this! There is no way for a man to "forget" a condom.

Your question, however, about your chance of pregnancy. If the condom was not properly used and semen spilled out into your vagina, the chance of pregnancy is there. Condoms are only up to 98% effective when used correctly.

What you can do? When was the last time you took a home pregnancy test? They are only reliable once you have missed your period, and your period could begin anytime this week, right? Wait a week for your period to begin (it most likely will, keep positive!), and if it does not begin, take another home pregnancy test.

Then, please talk to your boyfriend about using a condom correctly! Do you and he have good communication skills between you two?
