I am not sure why you thought you were pregnant if you had no symptoms. You would need to have missed a period, and cramping can be due to many things (period, gastrointestinal conditions, etc).

Pre-ejaculatory fluid (the fluid that is pushed up to the tip of a man's penis when he gets an erection) may or may not contain sperm. Most experts believe it does not contain sperm.

Sperm in wet semen can survive as long as the semen is wet. Once dried, it can not survive outside the body.
