Hi precious j,
I answered your question here: https://www.empowher.com/community/ask/why-do-my-hands-and-fingers-have-tinglely-sharp-pain-and-turn-purple, but will retype for this thread, so you can respond easier at your original question.

Could you tell us more about your symptoms?

How long have you been experiencing this pain?
How old are you?
Did you have an injury, a fall or any other trauma that you can think of that might be causing the pain?
When does your pain occur? After any particular activity? Do you notice any pattern or triggers that happen before the pain begins?

As Tina said in her post above, there could be issues with circulation (the tingling sensation), depending on your age you could have some arthritis or symptoms related to perimenopause. Pain on top of your hand could be caused by an injury (something falling on your hand, for instance), and the pain might be caused by a bruise you can not see underneath the skin.

I am concerned whenever I read that a person's pain travels or radiates from one body part to the other, but it could still be a strain or overuse condition. Do you use your hands frequently for a job, such as on a computer? Have you ever been diagnosed with arthritis or any other condition?
