Mary - It sounds like a very frustrating situation. Inflammation of the cervix, or cervicitis, can sometimes be a chronic condition, but typically there's good response when it's caused by an underlying infection and the infection is treated. Is it possible that the initial bout with vaginitis wasn't cleared up by the Clindamycin and you're still dealing with the original infection?
