If your last period was July 27th, then you have only missed one period (around August 27th), correct? Today is September 5th, so your period may just be delayed or you may miss a period. Both can be completely normal.

If you are not having any symptoms (such as pain), then you may just have a late or missed period. I know how frustrating it can be, since you are trying to conceive and are tracking your periods and the calendar. Some women do miss an entire period, and it is not an indication of any medical condition.

You have a few options:
1. Continue to wait for another week, to see if your period begins. You are now about 8 days late for your period, and this can be common (even without pregnancy or medical condition).
2. If you do experience any symptoms, call your doctor to ask
3. Your cycles may still be adjusting to being without synthetic hormones (unlikely, but possible) since it has been 2.5 months since you last took your birth control pill.
4. You can always call your OB/GYN and ask a nurse if you are worried about not having a period, and trying to conceive. They may want to see you for an in-clinic pregnancy test (blood test).

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
