Yes, the withdrawal bleeding that you would expect during the time of your "period" would indicate that you are not pregnant, assuming that you have not had intercourse since the last episode, and that it has been at least 2 weeks since any previous intercourse. There are the rare exceptions that some women have experienced bleeding while they were pregnant, as it is impossible to distinguish "period" bleeding from "withdrawal bleeding" or "breakthrough bleeding".
