I am not sure what the two days of bleeding would be from, but if it was light it may have been breakthrough bleeding or spotting. You can also have a period that is very different from other periods (in this case, much shorter in duration), but since you were not expecting it at that time, it is just speculation.
You can always take a home pregnancy test just to rule out a possible pregnancy, since your period would have been due today, or you can wait a week to see if your regularly-expected period will begin.
I assume you have been trying to conceive for 3 months, is this correct? Have you had three months of "normal" periods?
