I tried calling my current doctors office and the nurse said "So are you pregnant? If you aren't I'm not really sure why you are calling here because I'm not really seing a connection between the symptoms you are describing and your cycle. I don't think they have anything to do with one another. I think you just need a check up at your regular family doctor."
Talk about discouraging, and not being listened to.
So, I have made an appointment with my family doctor for a general check up and if she refers me back to my OBGYN, then I'll go ahead and switch to the new doctor....
