If you have just recently been off the pill, your cycles may take a month or two to become regular and predictable (assuming they were in the past). It is very unlikely to conceive with the first try, especially after only having one period after the pill, but it does (of course) happen.
If your period does not begin next week, you can try taking another pregnancy test, but I assume your period may be starting late from your symptoms and a negative test. keep trying, though!
