I'm a little confused as to why you removed the ring during sex and then put the same one back in? Nuva Ring is supposed to remain in place for 3 weeks, one week off, and then a new one inserted. When you re-insert an old nuva ring, you've put yourself at risk for an infection.
Common side effects of Nuva Ring include:
■Vaginal infections and irritation
■Vaginal secretion
■Headache
■Weight gain
■Nausea
Although abdominal cramps is also a less common side effect reported with Nuva Ring, I would suggest you give your doctor a call-- just in case there's a chance of infection. I think you also did the right thing by removing the Nuva Ring.
