Pregnancy tests are about 99% accurate (I'm not sure if any test is 100%), but a pregnancy test (urine or blood) after 2 weeks is 99% accurate. If you waited 6 weeks, then yes, you can depend on the results you received. The test would have shown positive for any "pregnancy hormones".
Your period is "only" delayed by 3 days, and I just wanted to give you some perspective: some women can miss an entire period for a month, and not have anything "wrong", or be pregnant...sometimes women's cycles can just change due to environmental circumstances (illness, medication, stress, etc). Your most likely reason for a delayed period is from taking emergency contraception; it is very, very common for your cycle to be "off" after taking EC.
Wait a few more weeks, and your period should begin (I bet it will begin this week, but give yourself 14 days before thinking about it...it will help lessen your stress, promise!)
