Thank you for sharing the tips for dealing with hair loss associated with chemotherapy. As someone who experienced this personally, purchasing a wig before the actual hair loss allowed me to be prepared once the inevitable happened. From my experience, the hair loss was not gradual. One day, as I combed my hair following a morning shower, clumps of hair come out with each comb stroke. At least 2/3 of my hair fell out. The second trauma was cleaning up--hair in the wastebasket and hair on the floor. I don't think anything could have prepared me for that traumatic moment.
