Foul smelling urine may be due to bacteria, such as that responsible for a urinary tract infection. You need to have a sample of your urine tested and cultured. A urine culture shows what type of bacteria is present. A urinalysis and urine culture can be done through your doctor's office or a health clinic. With diagnosis, proper treatment can be started and you do not need to cope with embarrassment any more.
