Hi Anonymous,
I will try to give you some clarification and hopefully, relieve some of your concerns. It is unlikely that you are pregnant. You had protected sex the day following the last day of your period. Conception occurs when you have unprotected sex at the time of ovulation. Ovulation is when an ovary releases an egg. Ovulation can be calculated by starting with the day the last menstrual period starts or by calculating 12-16 days from the next expected period. Most women ovulate anywhere between Day 11 - Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the last menstrual period. This is what many refer to as the "fertile time" of a woman's cycle, because sexual intercourse during this time increases the chance of pregnancy. Ovulation can occur at various times during a cycle, and may occur on a different day each month. You took Plan B, an effective emergency contraceptive, to prevent pregnancy.
The symptoms of cramping and vaginal discharge could indeed be caused by both Plan B and the other medication which you are taking. You did not mention what that medication is. I suggest that you contact your physician who prescribed the medication, which you said can alter hormone levels. Tell him or her what has happened. Please keep us posted.
