Good news for many BRCA carriers. I immediately received a response to my blog from a woman currently being treated for stage IV ovarian cancer and who is also a BRCA2 carrier. She said this is the best news she's heard in a long time. So it truly is a bizarre twist. No one wants a BRCA mutation I should think, and yet already diagnosed with and battling ovarian cancer, that BRCA carrier status is a big seed of hope.
