Thanks for your question. If you are young, especially in your teen years, your period may be irregular. This could be due to hormones, weight, or ovarian cysts. If you were to go to a doctor's office for this you may get a blood test to check your hormone levels and, if necessary, your doctor may order a pelvic ultrasound (this is not done vaginally, especially if you are a virgin). Don't be afraid to go to the doctor if you haven't had a period since May. It's been three months since your last period so it's important that you do get checked out.
