Well, you cannot force anyone to do something they don't want to do. If he choses not to be medicated to deter his Bi-Polar disorder and you understand this portion of your relationship, you must understand the outcome. The good news is, it appears that he is taking care of the issue (in his way) and not cheating or bothering you as it would appear he understands that his sex drive is extremely high. As I mentioned earlier, Bi-Polar and addictions are very common.
I think in reality, it is up to you to either understand or move on and find someone else. You certainly have complete control of your own happiness. Sit down and think about what you really want out of a relationship.
