In my opinion and experience from when i had a cyst that ruptured, it's always a good idea to go to the doctor if you are bleeding a lot. If the bleeding hasn't slowed down and is a lot (like she has to change her tampon or pad every hour or so) then i think she should go to the doctor. Also, if she's not on birth control, i think she should consider it because I use to bleed a lot monthly and birth control definitely helped decrease the amount I was bleeding every month.
