Sorry to read your frustrations. Your overall health has a lot to do with weight loss... the fact that you have gastritis which is an inflammation of the lining of your stomach is enough to keep you from overeating. You may think that you are pushing yourself to eat more but it is possible that pain from your gastritis makes you stop consuming as much as you would if you didn't have gastritis. One of the symptoms of gastritis is a feeling of fullness in your abdomen shortly after you begin eating, so this may also be playing a role in your weight loss.

If you have been to your doctors and been tested for everything regarding this weight loss, the cause may be either what I have mentioned above or the stress of not knowing what caused the weight loss to begin with--or the combination of both. You may have started losing weight and the more concerned you got, the more stressed and thinner you have become. Remember that stress is the culprit for many ailments and when you get rid of the stress you will see, at the very least, an improvement in your health.
