Hello Anonymous,
A pregnancy test is one definite way to determine if you are pregnant. A pelvic ultrasound is the second way.

Have you had unprotected sexual intercourse since your last menstrual period? Levels of hCG can be detected in urine as early as 11 days following conception and in blood about 12 to 14 days following conception. You should take a home pregnancy test when your period is late by at least one week.

How old are you? Some women can begin experiencing perimenopausal symptoms while in their 30s. Irregular menstrual cycles are just one symptom of perimenopause.

Is the spotting everyday for two weeks? Is the amount scant or are you needing to wear a sanitary pad or tampon?

There are several causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding. These include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which is a hormonal imbalance, an intrauterine device (IUD) and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).

Consult your gynecologist. If you are due for an annual pelvic examination, now may be the right time to schedule one.
