Having a few hairs surrounding the nipple is perfectly normal and not a cause for alarm. Since the hair is growing directly on the nipple itself, you should definitely give your doctor a telephone call to report this. You had a breast exam about three months ago, so your doctor should be able to calm your concerns and not charge you for the telephone consultation.
