Some women begin to experience the symptoms of perimenopause, such as irregular menstrual cycles, as early as their 30s. Any changes in your hormonal balance can cause a delay in the start of your period.

I suggest you schedule an appointment with your gynecologist. A physical exam, medical history, and diagnostic testing, such as a blood pregnancy test or test to check your hormone levels, can provide a cause for your symptoms.
