Hi Hall 96,

Could you have possibly pulled a muscle exercising? 

It sounds like it could just be a strain caused by overuse of the abdominal muscles (since we use them for everything). Typically this is just treated with rest and maybe some light stretches and should go away within a few weeks. Contact your doctor if it does not get better in a few weeks.
