When did the three day period start? Was December1 the first or last day of your last period? In general, how long is your menstrual cycle?
This three day period may have been your monthly period.
You could have a blood pregnancy test done. This test is more accurate than a urine test. Since you are trying to conceive, an appointment with your gynecologist would be beneficial.
You could wait another month. If you do not get your period, you could take a home pregnancy test.
