The drug may give you the usual side effects such as cramping, and spotting. However if you did conceive on Aug 12th, it will not be effective because you did not take it with 24-72 hours. This does not mean you are pregnant, it simply means the EC will not be effective if you did conceive. There is no way of knowing whether or not you did until your next period. If you miss your next period you may take a pregnancy test.
