Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Before I answer your questions directly I want to share some information about the conception process.
The ovulation period lasts about 12-24 hours and occurs about 12-16 days before your period. If the egg if fertilized during that time, the fertilized egg than takes about 10 days to travel to the uterus. When the egg implants in the uterus most women can experience implantation bleeding, which will usually occur around the same time as your period. Even though it is only spotting for 1 or 2 days, it can be mistaken for a light period since it occurs around the same time.
In your case however, you had intercourse only 2 days before bleeding. This is too soon for it to be implantation bleeding unless you were already pregnant from a few weeks before when you were ovulating. If you were already pregnant by that time, the doctors would have probably noticed during the ultrasound.
It would not have shown in the blood or urine tests unless they were specifically testing for it.
However, whenever a women is hospitalized they often do a routine pregnancy test. But I can't say for sure they did.
In conclusion, the chances of pregnancy are slim unless you had unprotected sex during ovulation as I said before. So, I suggest that you take your own pregnancy test. That will clear up any speculation you have.
