Guide

Hello Lashan,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your concern.

Having unprotected intercourse during ovulation can definitely lead to pregnancy. It is possible you became pregnant. The vaginal bleeding which started on July 23 did not present as your period normally does.

I suggest you repeat the pregnancy test. Test in the morning and use the urine when you first wake up. Then contact your gynecologist, whether the result is negative or positive.

Your physician can order a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate than a urine test. By taking two tests, you are ahead with that information.

Let us know what happens,
Maryann
