A quantitative human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) test, also called a beta HCG test, measures the specific level of HCG in the blood. HCG is a hormone produced in the body during pregnancy.
Typically, the hCG levels will double every 72 hours. The level will reach its peak in the first 8-11 weeks of pregnancy and then will decline and level off for the remainder of the pregnancy.
Levels of hCG during week 5 to 6 of a pregnancy range from 18 – 7,340 mIU/ml in week 5 to 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml during week 6.
Sanja mj, did your doctor say why your levels dropped?
I am not familiar with the drug, Sylate. It appears to be available in India. So, I am providing you with information I found.
Sylate-T 500mg is tranexamic acid which is used for the reduction or prevention of menstrual bleeding. I have no idea why your doctor prescribed it.
