Globus pharyngis (also known as globus sensation, commonly referred to as having a "lump in one's throat"), is a persistent sensation of having phlegm, a pill or some other sort of obstruction in the throat when there is none.
Have you been checked out by an ENT (ears/nose/throat doctor)? If not, I would make an appointment or call your doctor and ask what his or her recommendation might be to ensure that there isn't something else going on that could also explain your symptoms. Keep us updated.
