Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception. Depending on when you last had unprotected intercourse, you may have tested too early.
You can wait until your period is late by at least one week, or schedule an appointment with your gynecologist for a blood pregnancy test. Levels of hCG can be detected earlier, about 11 days following conception.
