If you are sure you didn't have a fall or any kind of accident, a bump needs to be examined by a doctor.
You may have a cyst - a fluid filled sac that is usually harmless. You may also have Folliculitis - this is an infection with hair follicles that cause cause lumps.
You will need an examination to know more.
