Hi Ellen, I had the procedure done in Sept. 2008 and have had difficulty since. The doctor did say it could be 6 months for final results. I had a heavy period the month after and in Nov. experenced another heavy period with severe pain. The doctor the put me on progesterone to slow it down and it stopped. The day after I finished the pills I had severe cramps, they lasted 5 days with my period in between. The cramps were so bad I went on Fioricet and another heavy painkiller to reduce the pain. The doctor then did an ultrasound and found no obstructions or blockages. Now we are just waiting to see if my next period is the same if so its on to another doctor to find the source of the pain.
