Hi I'm a 29 y/o mom of four and done having kids so the dr thought this was a good procedure for me. He did a endometiral biopsy and U/S first before he scheduled the procedure.
I had the cryoablation done on July 20th a few days after my period ended. I took a valium before hand and then the shots down there made me feel kinda "drunk" for a few minutes. The procedure didn't take long, it was a little uncomfortable for me and parts did hurt like when he'd lift up on the instrument and it rubbed on my uterus (for the ultrasound so they could see what was happening). I had bloody discharge right after....then nothing for a few days and then heavy yellowish smelly discharge for about 3 weeks.
I just got my period yesterday....it's been light so far...have had some cramping but not to bad. I don't go back to the OBGYN until October.
