I had the her option three months ago. My periods were long about 12 days. I ran three days moderate and spotted the rest. I had no cramps during my cycle only my legs would ache once in a while and I never had acne breakouts either. After having the her option, I have cramps when I menstruate and the bleeding is extremely heavy for the first two days (I change my pad which is full about 4 times per day for the first two days) then it lightens. I run a normal five day cycle. But the first two days are heavier now then ever in my life AND I have monthly acne that pops up now. My anemia is better since I am not constantly spotting. I wish I was one of those women who the doctor mentioned didn't mensturate at all after the proceedure. It has helped in some ways and is worse as far as the heaviness of bleeding, cramps and acne.
