Hello,I am a 30 yr old female prior tubal ligation almost 7 years ago. I've always had a regular cycle up until May when I spotted for a few hours in place of my period. In June no period, same now for July. My pcp's first concern was pregnancy or ectopic, seeing as how I did in May and June have alot of textbook pregnancy symptoms(nausea, throwing up,sore breasts, pronounced Montgomery tubercles) and am having regular unprotected sex with my spouse as my tubes are tied. I have to admit,I embarrassingly felt pregnant although my tubes are tied. I took 2 negative hpt,2 negative hcg blood tests,2 negative scans, although they were neg for pregnancy, they both did show a cyst on my left ovary the first one June 9th measured it at 4cm,second one June 19th measured it 4.6cm. They called it a simple cyst and I will have it rescanned August 21st to see if it is just a functional cyst. I was also prescribed Provera to take for 5 days in August if my period is a no show again to try to bring it on. The blood tests I've had thus far are hcg, cbc, thyroid panel, hormone panel, sugar testing, and I believe that's all but they've all come back at normal ranges and I am just baffled at my body at this point. I have gained 15 pounds in 3 months as I was 140 and am now between 153 and 155. When I wake up in the morning my face, lips, eyes are puffy as can be and I feel horrible. By evening I can barely keep my eyes open and my feet and ankles are balloons. I have since June cut out all salt(which wasn't much because I just don't like it) and processed sugar from my diet,as well as the little bit of caffeine(1-2 cups of coffee daily) I was ingesting, and although I wasn't dealing with any added stress in the first place,I've taken extra measures to relax and give myself a bit more spoiling lately,to no avail. Is there any insight from you here? Or maybe even an idea of a specialist I should go see? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. A woman hates her period but when it actually disappears with no answer and my body feels like it is failing me or slowly shutting down....it's very worrisome. Thank you in advance for any insight.
