Q:

Am 75 years young, had a complete hysterectomy and after 20 years still have hot flashes. Have weight gain and ostepenia. Take monthly Boniva. Any suggestions for symptoms of dry uterous lining.

Hi Anon,

Do you mean dry uterus lining? or dry vaginal walls?

If you mean dry vaginal walls, then Over-the-counter, water- soluble vaginal lubricants may be helpful. Estrogen replacement creams are available by prescription.

Hope this helps,

Rosa
