I been taking bcp for 1 month 2 weeks & 6 days. I wanted to stop taking the pills to get pregnant, so I missed the last 8 pills of the pack (week 4). On week 4 of me not taking my bcp, is the same week I was having unprotected sex, which is May 12, 2012 - May 15, 2012. May 13 & 14 I spotted but still having unprotected sex. My bf came insided me numous of times per day for those 4 days. A couple of day later I started feeling very very different wit my bdy, (lower stomach pains,lower back pain, extremely tired & weak. I have taking two pregnancy test and both test were neg. Im not sure whn my last normal period was, but I think the first day of my last normal period was April 21, 2011. But may is almost out and I did not get my period yet...... Am I also testing to early? Plz help me!

Hi Anon,
If the first day of your last period was April 21st, then you would have a positive pregnancy test by now. But if it wasn't and you had sex less than two weeks ago, then it may be too soon to test. Please give it another week prior to testing again. Remember that stress, medications, weight loss or gain, and illnesses can all cause a delay in period. Also, when you are on the pill, periods can take a while to become regular once you come off of them.
