He includes melanoma...Lymphadectomy 2010..no follow up needed..yippee
But always worry my lymph system is compromised even though I know with pitting edema it has nothing to do with this issue

I am a retired RN..very active and work part time. I am aware to assess my cardiac status with my primary MD. I think the stocking will help and I will keep evaluating their effectiveness. Important to eliminate salt..ugh

I can't tell if you have a cardiac history or not, based on your post.
Swelling in this area can occur to to heart or kidney ill-health or other reasons including inactivity, being older or being over-weight. Compression socks improve blood circulation and can decrease swelling.
