not sure if you still have the same problem, i had somethng similar with all tests coming up ok, so it looks like i might have what is called cytolytic vaginosis, you could search for this online, it is due to the 'good' bacteria growing too huge in numbers. using sodium bicarbonate in some warm water will settle things down. hope this helps...

Hi,
Since the tests for STDs and BV (are you referring to bacterial vaginosis) had negative results, at least you know what you do not have.
A woman's vagina normally produces a discharge that usually is described as clear or slightly cloudy, non-irritating and odor-free. During the normal menstrual cycle, the amount and consistency of discharge vary. At one time of the month there may be a small amount of a very thin or watery discharge; and at another time, a more extensive thicker discharge may appear. This is all considered normal. However, a vaginal discharge that has an odor or that is irritating is usually considered an abnormal discharge.
Only your doctor can make the diagnosis of the cause of your abnormal discharge. He or she can perform a pelvic exam and analyze a sample of the discharge. I can offer a few suggestions to try and see if you notice a change or relief of the symptoms. Maintain good personal hygiene, avoid wearing a pantyliner, try wearing cotton underpants and stop wearing underpants at night. These simple tips may help keep your vaginal area clean and allow for ventilation. Keep us posted.
