Best low dose birth control pill?

I have horrible cramps and am sexually active. I've tried the pill before and loved that it protected me and saved me a lot of agony. My periods are very very heavy, irregular, and so painful I've gone to the hospital. The down side is they cause intense mood swings. I freak out. I've tried the generic versions of Yaz and Yasmin. What other low dose birth controls should I talk about with my doctor?

Thanks for your question. Since you had side effects (mood swings) from taking medications in the past, you should always consult your physician for any medications so that they may be monitored. Please keep us posted.
