thank you for answering, i'm going to keep my eye on it and see if it is the same today and take it from there. I forgot i also ate a red velvet cake doughnut earlier that morning which could have something to do with it also. If it is still a different color today, i will pursue other questions or a dr.

What we consume can affect the color of bowel movements, especially a food like beets or tomatoes. French dressing is tomato based so it could happen but I would think a fairly large amount of dressing would need to be consumed. Some people are more sensitive to colors and dyes than others.

thank you for your response. i didnt consume that much dressing, however, i did forget i had a red velvet doughnut earlier yesterday. i'm sure that probably had something to do with that as well.
