Ok I had my period on the 7th of December then started my second month of birthcontrol pill (Beyazz) that following Sunday. Ok now here is the thing I forgot to take like 3 pills in a roll the first week. Apone realizing it I contuined taking the same pack. Then the 20th I started bleeding (just found out it's called breakthrough bleeding) that lasted two weeks. Although the 29th It seemed to stop and I had drunk unprotected sex. He did not cum inside me but I did end up taking the '' Day after pill'' with in the 72 hours to be safe. However two days later I started the breakthrough bleeding again and It stopped again on the 3rd of Jan. So altogether it was like two weeks I was with the breakthrough bleeding I guess right? I also took my last active pill of for the month on the 4th. So here's my problem.. On the 5th I had sex again and to my darn luck the condom broke! So Instead of starting my 3rd month of pill on Sun. I started them the next day on the 6th. Then on the 12th early in the am I was rushed to the hospital. I was throwing up all night the night before. The said it was the stomach flu. I also was having pain in my ovarys and uturas. They said it had to be the pill because they didn't find anything wrong in tests. So I stopped taking the pill altogether now. can I become pregnant?

Hi A.J.thompson,
Taking a pregnancy test while on the pill should be fine. It might be good to talk to your doctor about the bleeding you continue having.
Best,
Daisy

Hi A.J.thompson,
Welcome to EmpowHER. If you were taking the pill everyday before you had sex and the condom broke. You should be safe. But taking the pill on and off puts you at risk of pregnancy. Birth Control pills in order to be effective it has to be taken everyday. It might be good to talk to your doctor soon about choosing a new method of birth control that works best for you.
Best,
Daisy
