Wait and see if you get your period. If you are late by one week, take a home pregnancy test. Read the directions and following them carefully so that you will get the most accurate results.

If you feel ready to be sexually active, it is very important that you understand the basics of sexual health, the reproductive system of both female and male, and conception.

To answer your question, cum (semen) contains sperm. Sperm entered your vagina when your boyfriend inserted the tip of his penis (that had a bit of cum on it) inside of you. If one of your ovaries released an egg (ovulation), there is a very good chance that you could become pregnant (ovulation).

As a nurse and the mother of 3 children, I urge you really think about the consequences of being sexually active. If you think you are really ready, you need to educate yourself about sexually transmitted diseases and protecting yourself from an unwanted pregnancy.
