Thank you! I really needed to hear that. I have a 26 year old son. Due to ridiculous malpractice resultant in cardiac arrest and now in medically induced coma. The doctors' prognosis is not what we wanted to hear. I know my son and I know my God and I too believe in miracles. It's been 15 days and although we may be in for a long haul- I just know my son will wake up and have the meaningful life Gods grace and favor will grant. Thank you- Thank you- Thank you for your story of encouragement and faith!

My 16 year old brother had a bad anoxic brain injury from sudden cardiac arrest! It has been two months since his injury and he is still in a vegetative state. He's been getting regular assisted therapy but the neurologist today basically told us to give up hope of any sort of recovery! Please help my other brother and my parents need anything to hang on too! We feel like god has abandoned us! My parents haven't missed a week of church on 50 something years. Please any words of inspiration?

I am sorry to hear about your brother, I have a 19 year old son that was injured last year in September he suffers from an anoxic brain injury. The doctors stated he will never know whom any of his family is and that he will never eat on his own he also had a teach and basically wanted me to pull the plug as of today with God's grace and mercy he's able to do all the things the doctors said he wouldn't do besides walk and I am believing in God that he will walk one day soon. I said that to say this never give up keep the Faith you never know how God can turn a situation around he's young he has a better chance of recovering my heart goes out to you and your family. It's not a easy job at all, but my family and yours will get through this with miraculously healing in Jesus name

God has not forgotten you, please know He walks with you in this very trying part of your life. I am a nurse who has had the honor of taking care of a man who suffered a brain injury as well because of lack of oxygen. Doctors told the family nothing else can be done and call hospice after this happened. 2 years later he lives in his own home with wife, he has round the clock CNA care and myself to do meds ect. He will never be 100% but he is a long way removed from the state he was in. Please have faith in our God, he will bring you thru this. My patients wife and family are very devout Christians and I honestly believe it is the only way they have been able to got thru this. God bless you.

Be patient and keep praying. If he is breathing on his own that is a positive. Talk to him , play his favorite music , turn on the TV. Stimulate his brain as much as you can. Every Anoxic Brain injury is different. My 25 yo son suffered an Anoxic Brain Injury after a severe arrythmia. He was in a coma for 1 month. Most doctors provided us with a poor prognosis. He slowly woke up. I will pray for your son and family
