The technical definition of virginity is whether or not a penis has been inserted into your vagina. But I find that definition misleading, the whole notion of virginity, actually. I knew girls in high school who did everything but have vaginal intercourse and I most certainly did not consider them to be virgins. The idea of virginity stems from a time when women were property and their virginity guaranteed to their future husband that the children she bore were his. But medically speaking there isn't really such a thing. Not all women have hymens, and not all of those who do break their hymens the same way. Of those who have hymens there are actually many different ways the hymens itself can form which helps determine the way it breaks as well.

In addition, the technical definition of virginity ignores the existence of gay people. I wouldn't say that a lesbian who has never slept with a man but is sexually active with women is a virgin.

Ok you can't get your period while pregnant because 1) a woman's uterus closes up and naturally cloggs up the opening with a mucus substance so nothing can come in or more importantly go out 2) a period is when the uterus gets rid of all the unused bloody tissue that surround it's walls. When a woman's body realizes it pregnant the bloody tissue surrounds the new forming baby. If you were to get your period while pregnant you would flush out the baby al well as the bloody tissue resulting in a miscarriage

There is a very large difference between experiencing bleeding and having a period. You will only menstruate if you are not pregnant; your body is releasing an egg when yo u menstruate. When you're pregnant, the body stops making eggs.

Actually your body has made all the eggs you will have by the time you reach puberty..the female body does not make eggs monthly like sperm is made regularly in males.

First of all, it's not right to call another person ignorant, if you're doing that than you're ignorant yourself. Just because you were told one thing and don't understand another that doesn't mean the other person is wrong. Your problem is you cant see past your nose(in case you didn't know what that meant, it means you are a very close minded person.) Your opinion is your opinion, but there is no need to make someone feel like they are the dirt beneath your shoe's. I hate to break it to you, but if you think you're better than everyone else you most certainly are not. And to anyone this person has offended I apologize for them, being they aren't a big enough person to do it themselves.

Actually you can get pregnant but the guy has to ejaculate. Cant get pregnant with no sperm going to eggs. But if you do, regardless of where its at, if any of it gets near the vagina theres a chance. Not a big chance, but still a chance.
Wish you the best though.
