Q:

Can you switch from a heavy flow to a light one?

I ovulated on the 10th and had unprotected sex on the 19. I started my period on the normal date (feb. 23) but my flow has been heavy ever since I got it for the first time at age 10 and I'm 17. But this time it's really light. Like I one pad would do it for a whole day kind of light when I usually would have to change 4 to 5 times a day. Is this change normal from time to time or could I be pregnant?

An egg lives 12 to 24 hours after leaving the ovary. Are you absolutely certain that you ovulated on February 10?

If so, then you may not be pregnant. And there is another reason why you had such a light period.

Since it's such a long time after ovulation is it even a chance it could be a pregnancy?

I think it would be wise to make an appointment with your gynecologist.

Since you have been menstruating for 7 years, it is unusual that you would suddenly have such a light period.

A blood test to check for pregnancy or just to check hormone levels could give you an answer.
